Oh it’s been a busy time for me. So many piping jobs! Wouldn’t have it any other way.
Last weekend I played the Motherwell Beer Festival with Bags of Rock. The band went down a storm and we got the crowd bouncing. I sampled a wee ginger-flavoured beer after it too which was nae bad 😛 click here to see a video someone took of our opening number ‘Travel Through Time’.
The next day there was a wedding in Kilsyth/Lennoxtown then a corporate gig in Edinburgh, and on Sunday I played two gigs with Dhol drummers – one in Cumbernauld which was an Asian wedding and one in East Kilbride at an Indian Restaurant for their ‘Bollywood Night’. I have learned a few indian wedding tunes on the pipes which always go down well. Here’s a taster of what we do:
