I enjoyed teaching for a week in Germany at the Brüggen Winter School last month. This was the 3rd year I had taught here and it was great see some old faces, as well as meet some new ones. Here’s the group photo from 2015:
You’ll see this is the 9th Winter School so I’m looking forward to celebrating the 10th next year – it’s gonna be a big un 🙂 I may also be going back to Brüggen in October to run a piobaireachd class since the students enjoyed my lecture on the same subject this winter school.
I was also in Germany in February to work with VisitScotland. I played for and spoke to many German journalists in Munich & Hamburg in events that were to promote Scotland’s tradition & culture. Here’s me standing at my ‘station’:
