Spotted myself on television yesterday playing the pipes. It was footage taken years ago for an auction show called ‘Flog It’. This particular episode was in Glasgow and they were speaking to a well-know historian, Hugh Cheape, about old bagpipes and their history. You could see myself and 2 other pipers playing on the steps of The National Piping Centre, which is where I now teach. The three of us were chosen for this as we played in the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland at the time.
